Discover the answer in this eyewitness account by Dennis Kinlaw, President of Asbury College, Wilmore, KY, who recounts the story of a visitation of the Holy Spirit in 1970 in “A Revival Account at Asbury College – 1970.” This presentation has continued to spark the flames of revival in the hearts of people around the world. It contains eyewitness footage from the Revival.
Dr. Kinlaw speaks about how, in that time of revival, the Holy Spirit did not emphasize the gifts of the Spirit, but focused on personal sin, repentance, the need for restitution, the need to repair personal relationships, and the need to live in obedience to Christ.
As we pray for revival in our lives, our communities, our nation and our world, we must ask ourselves hard questions and deal honestly and candidly with any personal sin in our lives and be transparent before the Lord, allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us.
While listening, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal anything that stands between you and Jesus that would prevent the outpouring of His Spirit. And then, ask Him to come in all His fullness to restore and revive you again. Ask Him to send revival that would reach around the world.
