Ask, Seek, Knock

“Ask, Seek, Knock” by Dr Kinlaw (Part 8 of a 10-part series on Prayer)—Jesus is the mediator, not only in one moment on the cross but also eternally. He is the Eternal Mediator through whom we know the Father and the Spirit. Through him, we receive eternal life, eternally. He ever lives to be that mediator, the one intercessor between us and God who is the source of our life, the source of our salvation, and the source of holiness, love, and righteousness—all that we need.

Living Out of Prayer

In this sermon, “Living Out of Prayer,” Dr. Kinlaw explains the difference between working for God and working with him. The implication of the one is that we do something for him; the other is that we enter into what he is doing. The Christian life comes not out of our simple desire to do something for him. It comes out of an intimate relationship with Christ, and our actions are born out of our conversations with him.

The Nature of Love

In part 6 of his series on prayer, Dr Kinlaw shares that the key to being Christian intercessors is coming to the place where the love of Christ that motivates us, comes into us, and we quit living for self and find ourselves living for someone beyond our self. We don’t need holiness; we need the Holy One; and if we get the Holy One, he will make us holy.
