There is power in united prayer. Consider starting a Lydia Prayer Group if you are not already participating in one.
Turn Scripture into a Personal Prayer: Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Colossians 4:2 and Matthew 26:36-46
Jesus, You were a perfect model of a man of prayer. At Gethsemane You gathered some of Your chosen disciples to watch and pray with You in your night of agony, but they failed You. I do not want to be found sleeping in the area of prayer. I realize that the results are extended when we join other believers in intercessory prayer. Prayer is work; it takes discipline. Show me how to make prayer a priority in my life, not just personal, private prayer, but unified group prayer. I commit to continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving. Amen1
