Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 2:5-6
Relinquish control. Allow God to reveal to you those things that you are holding in your grip afraid to give to Him fearing He will mess things up. Admit it. Let it go.
Do something visual if you must.
- Release a helium balloon as you send it to Him.
- Place it in your hands and lift it heavenward then lower your arms with your palms downward, empty.
- Take it to the foot of the cross and leave it there.
God is creative. He will give you a plan.
Turn Scripture into a Personal Prayer: (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Dear Precious, Sweet Jesus, I want to trust You with all my heart even when I don’t understand. It is my desire to acknowledge You in everything I do and to allow You to direct my paths. Thank you for that promise. I love You! Amen1
