Dear Titus Family,
Once again we enter into the hottest season of summer. With little rain in the forecast and hot stifling breezes, the newly planted, tender vegetation anticipated for a fall crop can soon be burnt to a crisp. There has to be a reliable source of water to guarantee a fruitful harvest. We all have seasons of summer in our lives and it isn’t always a fun vacation by the beach. In the midst of fiery trials, disappointments, delays, or a deluge of disasters which seemingly have no end, along with the pressure of false teaching, friends like Job’s and doubting Thomas’s it is definitely not the time to slack off, draw back, or let up your intensity to know and walk in Jesus.
This summer, I urge you beloved In Christ, do not place Jesus in a dusty corner, acknowledging He is there but making your plans of returning to Him after you go on vacation or deal with whatever is bidding for your attention. He must be at your center of all and His kingdom sought first in every season, for every occasion and in all relationships. Jesus must continually be Enough or you have “lost” your first love! Be careful of the enemy’s deceitful plot of placing thoughts in your head that it’s ok to be slack in your abiding “just because it’s summer.” God’s Word says “God IS love” and“Abide in My love…for apart from Me you can do nothing” (1 John 4: 7, 16; John 15:5, 10). We must heed the words of our Savior and Lord.
Keeping Jesus at center is why we have the weekly Titus e-News. Titus living isn’t just for women! If you will take note, Titus 1 and 2 offers the Biblical pattern for all who desire to live purely Jesus in heart, mind, soul, spirit and strength, participating in the good deeds of holy love to others. Titus living is for those who desire to keep His presence at their center and the Kingdom of His Word first – for all eternity (Titus 2:14).
Titus Women invites you to the new summer challenge; Diving Deep Into His Word beginning June 21, 2015. “The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul…they are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold…sweeter than honey; even honey dripping from the comb. They are a warning to your servant, a great reward for those who obey them” (Psalm 19:7, 10, 11 NLT). Participate with others around the world in discovering eternal treasures from God’s Word that will not rust, decay or disappoint. You will know the peace, joy and comfort of abiding in Jesus and the assurance all of your living is being led, fed and fruitful through His living IN you by the power of the Holy Spirit.

A Wealth of Prayer: A prayer focus given for application and intercession. “For the Word of God is alive and powerful. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God…” (Hebrews 4:12, 13a). “Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.” (Colossians 4:2)
A World of Prayer: May our hearts be broken into prayer as Bette Crouse continues to remind us of the incredible needs of a dark and hungry world. May we lift them to their Heavenly Father, seeking Him for His plan and people for inviting them to Jesus. “Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession” (Psalm 2:8).
